Description
The Goddess watched as people came into being. As they crawled out from the primordial puddle of goo and began their mundane existence, it had been something worth watching. So many struggles, dramas and joys that the Goddess could not help Herself. They honored Her and She in turn, honored them. She became so involved and entwined in their lives that they did not see Her uniqueness from their own selfish desires.
She watched as they polluted Her waters and destroyed Her forests. She watched them bicker endlessly over definition of words and political alignments. And finally, She watched their destruction. Their little towns and churches, all gone. No more cry or laughter of children. Silence.
The Earth will not end but our time is now the object of the Goddess' quiet but vengeful contemplations.
These are all completely digital paintings with textures, filters, brushes used in conjunction with the aid of a mouse and Wacom board. They are both simple and complex with varying amounts of time dedicated to each painting. I use only "Creative Commons Zero Attribute" references unless specified otherwise.
